You may already be familiar with The Whisky Exchange’s famous Whisky Show organised every year in September in London, but did you know that 2017 will see the first ever edition of the “Old & Rare Whisky Show“, held in Glasgow 18-19 February? Yeap, you guessed it, I couldn’t do without booking my flights when I heard the news!
This special whisky event will – as you can imagine – focus on old & rare bottlings, being a one-of-a-kind occasion to sample incredibly collectible expressions: from 19th-century drams to bling-bling Glenfarclas & other bottlings you’ve always dreamed of owning (but you had to make a choice and you prefered going on your annual ski session sliding on fake snow 😉 I don’t blame you, I just spent 184879€ in a stupid armchair… like blogger like reader?).
The greatest whisky bar at your fingertips, here’s what it is! And if you’re afraid you won’t be able to make a choice amongst this pool of exquisite nectars – worry no more – I’m here to help 😀 I have selected 10 drams to look forward to if you’re making it to Glasgow next month. And if you’re not (first, I’m very sorry, you’re missing out, and no, binge watching the new season of Homeland isn’t a legit reason not to come), this list could make you change your mind!
