As a bourbon enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting bourbons to try. Recently, I had the pleasure of trying Bardstown Origin Series Bourbon, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. This bourbon is not overly complex, but it’s easy to identify the different flavor notes, and when combined, they make for a smooth and easy-sipping bourbon overall.

Bardstown Bourbon Company is known for its blending prowess, and their Discovery Series is a testament to that. I had the opportunity to try Discovery Series #7, which is a complex blend of whiskeys from multiple distilleries. The company is transparent about the whiskeys used in their blends, and this particular blend showcases the company’s ability to create a unique and delicious bourbon. If you’re a fan of blended bourbons, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

I also had the chance to try Bardstown Bourbon Origin Series Bourbon, which is part of a new series of in-house distilled whiskeys from this Kentucky distillery. This bourbon is aged for six years and has a high rye contribution of 36% in the mash bill, which gives it a unique flavor profile. It’s not as complex as some other bourbons I’ve tried, but it’s definitely worth a taste if you’re looking for something new. Overall, Bardstown Bourbon Company has some fantastic offerings, and I’m excited to see what they come up with next.
