It felt like a very long time I hadn’t attended a whisky festival and Whisky Live Paris 2019<\/a> last weekend was just the perfect occasion to quench my thirst for new drams !<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year, the festival was held in a brand new location (Grande Halle de la Villette), bigger than ever, which made it very hard (I mean, completely impossible)<\/em> for me to visit all stands so I decided to set myself a personal roadmap :<\/p>\n

–> DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO TRY WHISKIES YOU ALREADY HAVE OPEN OR UNOPENED<\/strong> AT HOME<\/span><\/p>\n

–> TRY ONLY WHISKIES YOU HAVE NEVER TASTED BEFORE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

–> ONLY GO FOR WHISKIES YOU CAN AFFORD<\/strong><\/span> (well, didn’t really stick to this one x))<\/em><\/p>\n

–> PRIORITISE THE NEW KIDS<\/strong> ON THE BLOCK, THEY DESERVE IT<\/span><\/p>\n

–> DON’T QUEUE<\/strong> FOR A DRAM, IT’S NOT DISNEYLAND<\/span> (Sorry Bruichladdich, Chichibu & Compass Box, had to pass my turn this year ;))<\/em><\/p>\n

–> DON’T CLIMB THE STAIRS UP TO THE VIP SECTION<\/strong>, THAT’S NOT WHY YOU ARE HERE<\/span> (contrary to many visitors who don’t even take a look at the stands and go straight to VIP…)<\/em><\/p>\n
