Glen Scotia 25<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

A mid-2017 addition to the Glen Scotia range, this 25 year old single malt was drawn from some specially selected casks and married in first-fill bourbon barrels before being bottled at 48.8% ABV.<\/p>\n

Bruichladdich Feis Ile 2017 – Transparency<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Twelve casks of seven different types have been deployed by Head Distiller Adam Hannett in his crafting of this fascinating, limited edition.<\/p>\n

All the spirit used was distilled using 100% Scottish barley and it was matured entirely on Islay. It has been bottled at the distillery at 56.4% alc. vol. using just a splash of Islay spring water. In common with all our whiskies, there has been no chill filtration employed and no artificial colouring has been added.<\/p>\n

One thousand individually numbered bottles have been made available. Each carries the unique five digit batch code. Entering this batch code into the field provided on this product page will provide owners with details of the cask recipe used.<\/p>\n

Teeling Brabazon\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Related<\/p>\n

The first release in Teeling’s Brabazon Bottling range, which will explore the impact that fortified wine casks have on the flavour profile of Irish whiskey. This initial bottling features whiskey drawn from six Sherry casks, resulting in big ol’ bundles Sherried deliciousness.<\/p>\n

Ardbeg Kelpie<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

An Ardbeg that’s said to be “as deep as the ocean” thanks to the use of virgin Black Sea oak casks sourced by Dr. Bill Lumsden from the Adyghe Republic in Russia. Whisky from these casks has then been married with regular bourbon cask matured Ardbeg and bottled for F\u00e8is \u00ccle 2017 at 46%. The kelpie from which this release takes its name is a mischievous water spirit, which might be able to take the form of a horse, or a bull, and may have claws, or be a dog with the head of an ant, that flies. Or Crab Nicholson.<\/p>\n

Booker’s True Barrel Bourbon<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Another brilliant batch of Booker’s Bourbon! This particular bottling was from Batch 2013-7, and has been bottled at 64% ABV. The range was named after Booker Noe, Jim Beam’s grandson and former Master Distiller.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Compass Box – Double Single<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

ompass Box, much-adored makers of excellent blends, have posed an interesting quandary – “How many components are required to create true complexity in a blended Scotch whisky?” They reckon you only need two components, and here’s their argument: The Double Single, a blended Scotch whisky made with one single malt whisky and one single grain whisky! The single malt in question was from Glen Elgin, while the single grain was from Girvan.<\/p>\n
