The Good Spirits Co. was formed in 2010 by three ex-Oddbins employees in order to stock the wide range of wonderful drinks from around the globe that wasn’t available in the city of Glasgow.

We’re talking about a specialist spirits store here, stocking a wide range of spirits, and not a “Scotch whisky only” retailer (which is definitely worth mentioning if you’re willing to widen your liquid horizons… And I do hope you are!). As you’ll see on the below pictures, the shop offers a large selection of rum, gin, vodka, tequila, brandy and of course whisky, plus some champagne, fortified wines and cigars. Yeap, you heard that right, there’s also a walk-in cigar humidor on-site for those who like pairing their dram with a smokey treat!

Also worth noting, the knowledgeable team at The Good Spirits Co. organises regular spirited events and tastings. And to follow up with good news, I couldn’t help but notice their intriguing and tempting range of bottled cocktails branded under their own “The Good Spirits Co.” flag – I may need to go back to have a deeper look before I leave Glasgow….
