The resultant product is \u201cFreeburn,\u201d a deep red hopped scotch ale with layers of flavour and a unique taste. The name comes from the water source for the Tomatin Distillery, the Alt na Frith which means \u2018free burn.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>3,000 bottles will be available from today in local shops including the Loch Ness Brewery Shop, Tomatin Distillery Visitor Centre,\u00a0the Benleva, Fiddlers and Tomlinsons Beer Shop. The ales will also be available online from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lochnessbrewery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.lochnessbrewery.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" id=\"il_fi\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/richardpitkin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/divider_gold.png\" alt=\"See original image\" width=\"375\" height=\"75\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Stephen Bremner, Sales Director at Tomatin Distillery said: &#8220;<em>With exceptional produce in our region, it was obvious to us to partner with Loch Ness Brewery who share our vision in creating quality and taste for customers. This is a unique product that beer lovers will be excited to try. We are thrilled to be launching it tonight at Fiddler\u2019s Bar in Drumnadrochit. We have already enjoyed excellent feedback.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Steve Crossland, Managing Director at Loch Ness Brewery said: \u201c<em>The team are very excited to be launching the new product tonight, we\u2019re delighted to partner with our local distillery. The ale is a very complex beer, with layers of flavours, a deep red colour, and we describe it as a Hopped Scotch Ale.
