Founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife duo Troy and Michelle Kooper, the blending house concept started out as a hobby and quickly turned into a business. Kooper Family Whiskey is one of the few whiskey blending houses in Texas and has gained a reputation for producing high-quality products.<\/p>\n<p>The Single Barrel Bourbon is distilled in Indiana and aged for 4-5 years in #3 char American White Oak casks. The mash bill is composed of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley.
